What Is DMAP?
The Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan (DMAP) is an Ontario government program delivered by the Ontario Centre for Innovation (OCI). It provides funding for small and medium-sized businesses to work with accredited digital advisors and develop a customized technology adoption plan.
DMAP replaced the federal CDAP program (which ended March 2025) for Ontario businesses, offering more targeted support for operational technology modernization.
Funding Available
Stage 1: Digital Assessment
Up to $15,000 (90% coverage)
Work with a Digital Adoption Consultant to assess your current technology landscape, identify gaps, and define your digital modernization objectives.
Stage 2: Technology Selection
Up to $15,000 (90% coverage)
Continue working with your digital advisor for ERP evaluation, technology selection, vendor comparison, and implementation planning.
Eligibility Requirements
- Incorporated in Ontario or federally with a valid Business Number
- For-profit, privately owned business
- 1 to 499 full-time equivalent employees
- Minimum $500,000 annual revenue (3-year average)
- Permanent establishment in Ontario
- Commitment to technology adoption and innovation
