Practical AI adoption for Canadian SMEs

Why Digid 👋

Digid helps Canadian SMEs turn AI interest into a practical adoption path. We work across workflow assessment, funding fit, governance, training, cloud choices, and small implementation projects so teams can decide what to build first and how to operate it responsibly.

The company is based in Barrie, Ontario and works with business owners and teams that need a clear next step: assess one workflow, choose the right support path, build a useful first version, train users, and measure adoption before scaling.

Mission

Help Canadian SMEs turn AI, funding, governance, training, and cloud choices into one practical adoption plan.

Method

Start with one workflow, define data and approvals, check funding and training fit, build the first useful system, and measure adoption.

How Digid helps

What Digid does

Digid is a Barrie, Ontario advisory and implementation firm for practical AI adoption. We help Canadian SMEs assess where AI belongs, clarify funding and governance requirements, train staff, connect cloud and workflow tools, and build the first useful system.

Our work usually starts when a business owner or operations team knows AI could help but needs a clearer path: which workflow to improve first, what data is safe to use, what funding or training support may fit, and how to launch without creating uncontrolled risk.

Digid connects the strategy and the implementation. That can include AI Pathfinder, DMAP/TDP planning, SR&ED evidence support, BDC LIFT readiness framing, PECB-related training paths where applicable, cloud setup, CRM and automation workflows, knowledge systems, and small implementation sprints.

We also build from the tools already inside the business: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, CRM, cloud storage, spreadsheets, websites, calendars, documents, and the operating notes teams already use. The goal is a first system that staff can understand, measure, and improve.

The outcome should be practical: a decision, a scoped workflow, a business case, a governance path, and a first AI-supported workflow the team can actually use. When funding, financing, or tax-credit conversations are relevant, Digid helps organize the project evidence before those third-party conversations happen.

How Digid works with clients

Clear first workflow

We help choose the first AI workflow by business value, data readiness, team capacity, and measurable outcome.

Existing tools first

We work with the systems already in place before recommending new platforms, integrations, or cloud services.

Practical controls

We define approvals, privacy boundaries, quality checks, and ownership so the AI system can be trusted in daily work.

Small build, real adoption

We keep the first version focused enough to launch, train users, measure usage, and improve from real feedback.

Funding where it fits

We review DMAP, TDP, SR&ED, BDC LIFT, training, and partner paths when they support the project scope.

Choose the first workflow

If your team is considering AI, start with one workflow and one clear outcome. Digid can help decide what to assess, fund, govern, train, and build first.

Bring the process you want to improve, the systems involved, the people who use it, the data involved, and the decision you need to make. We will help route the work toward AI Pathfinder, a funding review, governance support, PECB or bridge training, cloud setup, CRM automation, or a focused implementation sprint.

The first conversation should produce a practical next step: clarify the workflow, prepare the project evidence, build a small proof of value, or wait until the team has the right inputs.
